How to use it in class

Open this page on the computer connected to your board and tap Start measuring.
Tap Traffic light mode, then set "Too loud above" for the activity: around 55 dB for quiet work, 65 to 70 dB for group work.
Green means fine, amber means getting loud, red means too loud.

Typical classroom levels

A quiet class working alone is usually 45 to 55 dB. Group work is often 60 to 70 dB, and a noisy class can pass 80 dB.
